- The Invincibles
Everyone knows of Arsenal’s Invincibles team in the 2003/04 season, which didn’t lose a single game in an entire Premier League season. They had big stars such as Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Patrick Vieira, Robert Pires and many more. Your job in FIFA22 Career Mode will be to try and recreate this with any high-rated team in one of the top 5 leagues. Of course, you can recreate this with any team from any league, but to recreate the scenario quite close to how it happened in real life you should use a good team from the start.
Your job is quite simple: to win the title in the highest division of your chosen country WITHOUT losing any match in the entire season. As soon as you lose one match in the league, you will either have to redo the Career Mode or just simulate onto the next season and try again.
Recommended teams: Arsenal, Spurs, Borussia Dortmund, Napoli, AC Milan and Atletico Madrid
- Treble
There are a couple of teams that have won the treble over the years, but one that particularly stands out to me is the 2003/04 FC Porto season, where the Portuguese side ended winning the Portuguese league title, the Portuguese Cup, and the Champions League. It was the start of Jose Mourinho’s managing career and the squad existed of big players like Ricardo Carvalho, Bosingwa and Deco.
The goal of this scenario is to pick a team outside the top 5 leagues and to recreate this scenario with in Career Mode, by winning the domestic league, domestic cup and Champions League. And be a little more adventurous than simply choosing Ajax 😉
Recommended teams: Porto, Benfica, Sporting CP, PSV, Feyenoord, Club Brugge, Anderlecht, Malmö, Besiktas, Galatasaray, Trabzonspor, Fenerbahce, FCSB and RB Salzburg.
- 5000/1
The most recent scenario from this list is the Leicester City scenario, where they had 5000 to 1 odds when you had bet on them at the start of the 2015/16 season. Leicester were a relegation contender in that season but somehow ended up winning the Premier League, with the likes of Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez, N’Golo Kanté turning into world-class players and Claudio Ranieri being the manager.
The goal of this scenario is to pick a relegation contender from any league and end up winning the title. You are not allowed to use any financial takeover (nor for any of the other scenarios), to not make it any easier!
Recommended teams from top 5 leagues: Watford (where Ranieri is currently the manager of in real life), Norwich City, Arminia Bielefeld, Greuther Fürth, RCD Mallorca, Rayo Vallecano, Venezia, Salernitana, Clermont Foot and Saint-Etienne.
- From the Second Division to Top Division Winners
An amazing scenario you might have not heard of before is the Kaiserslautern 1997/98 season, where they won the Bundesliga. But it wasn’t just any league title. The Red Devils won their second German Cup in 1996, but they also managed to get relegated to the second German division in the same season. But Kaiserslautern didn’t give up. They immediately won promotion back to the Bundesliga in 1997 and immediately went on to win the Bundesliga in the season after.
Possibly the hardest scenario to recreate but definitely a fun challenge to say the least. Your job is to pick any second division team from either England, Germany, France or Spain and get promoted in the first season, winning the top division straight away in the season after.
Recommended teams: Kaiserslautern, Nottingham Forest, Schalke 04, Werder Bremen, Hamburger SV, Fulham, Blackburn Rovers, Paris FC, Le Havre, Real Valladolid and Malaga.
