Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester City, Juventus. All teams that have won many trophies in the last couple of years. Arsenal, Dortmund, AC Milan. All teams that have won trophies a while back, but not too long ago. Then you have Tottenham Hotspur, a club that struggles to win silverware and is often mocked for it. The last silverware they won is the Audi Cup if you can even count that. They won the Audi Cup in 2019. The last “real” silverware they won was in 2008 when they won the League Cup. This is now known as the Carabao Cup. Something the Spurs haven’t won in a long while in the Premier League. The last time they won it was in 1960/61, finishing 8 points above Sheffield Wednesday.

I think it’s very clear that the history of Tottenham Hotspur ain’t that amazing. Yes, they were in the top flight often, but never really won big trophies. This is where you come in as a manager. Your job will be to make Spurs one of the biggest clubs in the world and make them feared by every single club on the globe. Win trophies like it’s nothing. Make people eat the words that they have said for the past 50+ years. Make not only London but the entire world your playing ground.
Trophies for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Your first rule for this Career Mode will be pretty obvious. Your job is to win trophies. You can decide how many seasons you will do, but for every season you are playing you need to win a trophy. This means that if you don’t win a trophy in season 1, you have to compensate in another season. So in the end, the number of trophies have to be equivalent to the number of seasons played.
La France est l’endroit où il faut être.
La France est l’endroit où il faut être means France is the place to be. In Tottenham’s history, there have been 15 players from France at the club. These players played a total of 1277 games together for Tottenham Hotspur. This is the most amount of games from any nation that is not England. Your job is to get a French superstar. You can get someone from your Youth Academy, or buy someone. From S3 onwards this guy has to be a starter for your team.
Daniel Levy.
People who have watched the show: All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur probably already know Daniel Levy. Daniel has been the owner and still is, of Tottenham Hotspur since 2001. Some could say Daniel has brought a lot to Spurs, and some could say he hasn’t done his job. For this storyline, Daniel Levy sold Spurs to a new owner. This owner doesn’t have the funds that Levy brought to the club, meaning you can’t spend any money that you get at the start of season 1. You can only use the money you receive by selling players. This will make season 1 slightly harder since after all, it’s still a challenge.

I hope you enjoyed this challenge. It’s slightly shorter than normal but I still think it could be fun to try out in FIFA Career Mode. Make sure to check us on our Twitter and Instagram. Also, join our Discord and chat with us about anything FIFA or Football related!
